ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN
The design process incorporates several phases that facilitate the development of a successful project, including programming, schematic design, design development, contract documents, bidding & negotiation, and construction administration. Within each phase, H2A Architects works closely with the client and the design team to document the needs and wants and then translate them into a successful design solution. Our computer drafting and 3-D modeling capabilities aid in the schematic & design development phases, providing early concept models of the proposed design.
ACCESSIBILTY STUDIES
H2A Architects has been involved in many facility upgrades specific to the issue of accessibility and barrier-free design. Remodels have included improvements such as accessible ramps and building entrances, elevators, wheelchair lifts and accessible restrooms, H2A has also been involved in multiple surveys of existing facilities and their compliance with accessibility codes including the ADA, ANSI 117.1 and the Fair Housing Act.
INTERIOR DESIGN
Our architectural practice is enhanced with in-house interior design services. We work very closely with the client and project team to insure consistency and communication throughout the project. Our goal is to provide our client with a functional design that is as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside. Our interior design experience includes general commercial offices, retail spaces, educational facilities, financial & banking institutions, medical & dental clinics, and residential.

PROJECT / SITE FEASIBILITY STUDIES
Site analysis and feasibility studies can be done to quickly determine a projects appropriateness for a particular site. H2A Architects will verify zoning requirements and restrictions including whether the use is allowed within the establish zone, required parking, setbacks, landscape and drainage buffers. With that information, we will develop a conceptual site plan determining the amount of building foot print available and the most efficient use of the site.
ROOFING INVESTIGATIONS
H2A Architects has significant experience and expertise in analyzing existing roofing systems and in designing and specifying roofing repair, re-roofing and new roof projects. H2A has investigated, designed and specified SBS and APP systems, single-ply systems including EPDM, PVC, Hypalon, EP and TPO, lov and high slope metal systems, fiberglass shingles and cedar shakes, concrete tile and ceramic coated metal roofs. Our experience includes mop down systems, mechanically fastened, vacuum systems and ballasted roofing membranes.
